Biswajyoti Sahu, M.Sc. will defend the doctoral dissertation entitled "Genome-wide Analysis of Androgen Receptor Function in Prostate Cancer" (Androgeenireseptorin genominlaajuisen toiminnan analysointi eturauhassyövässä) in the Faculty of Medicine, University of Helsinki, on 19 October 2012 at 12:00. The public examination will take place at the following address: Biomedicum Helsinki 1, Luentosali 3, Haartmaninkatu 8.
Dr. Jason S. Carroll, Cancer Research UK, University of Cambridge, will serve as the opponent, and Professor Olli A. Jänne as the custos.
The dissertation will be published in the series Helsinki Biomedical Dissertation Series.
