Kristina Laaksonen, LL will defend the doctoral dissertation entitled "Brain plasticity and stroke recovery" (Aivojen muovautuvuus ja aivoinfarktista toipuminen) in the Faculty of Medicine, University of Helsinki, on 2 November 2012 at 12:00. The public examination will take place at the following address: Meilahden sairaala, luentosali 4, Haartmaninkatu 4.
Professor Francois Mauguiere, Claude Bernard Lyon 1 University, will serve as the opponent, and Professor Timo Erkinjuntti as the custos.
