Kristiina Luopajärvi, LL will defend the doctoral dissertation entitled "The development of immune responses and gut microbiota in children at genetic risk of type 1 diabetes" in the Faculty of Medicine, University of Helsinki, on 2 November 2012 at 12:00. The public examination will take place at the following address: Lastenklinikka , Niilo Hallman -sali, Stenbäckinkatu 11.
Dosentti Arno Hänninen, TY, will serve as the opponent, and Professor Mikael Knip as the custos.
