Pia Soronen, FM, LK will defend the doctoral dissertation entitled "Genetics behind mood disorders - Candidate gene studies of bipolar and major depressive disorders" (Mielialahäiriöiden genetiikka) in the Faculty of Medicine, University of Helsinki, on 23 November 2012 at 13:00. The public examination will take place at the following address: Biomedicum, Luentosali 2, Haartmaninkatu 8.
professori Esa Leinonen, Tampereen yliopisto, will serve as the opponent, and Professor Tiina Paunio as the custos.
