Jenni Leppänen, FM will defend the doctoral dissertation entitled "Phylogeography and population genetics of social parasitism in Myrmica ants" (Viholaismuurahaisten fylogeografia ja sosiaalisen loisinnan populaatiogenetiikka) in the Faculty of Biological and Environmental Sciences, University of Helsinki, on 30 November 2012 at 9:00. The public examination will take place at the following address: Biokeskus 2, auditoro 2041, Viikinkaari 5.
professori Serge Aron, Université Libre de Bruxelles, will serve as the opponent, and Professor Pekka Pamilo as the custos.
