Anne Rosenlew, PL will defend the doctoral dissertation entitled "Trajectories of three women's groups in Urbanizing Senegal - Observing social capital and livelihoods in Rufisque" (Kolmen naisryhmän kehityspolut kaupungistuvassa Senegalissa.Tutkimuskohteena sosiaalinen pääoma ja toimeentulo Rufisquessa) in the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Helsinki, on 15 December 2012 at 10:15. The public examination will take place at the following address: Päärakennus, sali 5, Fabianinkatu 33.
Docent Signe Arnfred, Roskilde, Danmark, will serve as the opponent, and Professor Anja Nygren as the custos.
