Tuula Toljamo, LL will defend the doctoral dissertation entitled "Early chronic airway disease in young and middle-aged smokers" (Varhainen hengitystiesairaus nuorilla ja keski-ikäisillä tupakanpolttajilla ) in the Faculty of Medicine, University of Helsinki, on 14 December 2012 at 12:00. The public examination will take place at the following address: Biomedicum, luentosali 2, Haartmaninkatu 8 .
professori Alan Altraja, Tarton yliopisto, Tarto, Viro, will serve as the opponent, and Professor Paula Maasilta as the custos.
