Matti Kortelainen, DI will defend the doctoral dissertation entitled "Search for a Light Charged Higgs Boson in the CMS Experiment in pp Collisions at sqrt(s) = 7 TeV" in the Faculty of Science, University of Helsinki, on 20 December 2012 at 12:00. The public examination will take place at the following address: Physicum, auditorio E204, Gustaf Hällströmin katu 2.
Tohtori Aleandro Nisati, Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare, will serve as the opponent, and Professor Paula Eerola as the custos.
The dissertation will be published in the series Helsinki Institute of Physics Internal Report Series.
