Henry Pihlström, FM will defend the doctoral dissertation entitled "The Size of Major Mammalian Sensory Organs as Measured from Cranial Characters, and Their Relation to the Biology and Evolution of Mammals" in the Faculty of Biological and Environmental Sciences, University of Helsinki, on 15 December 2012 at 12:00. The public examination will take place at the following address: Biocenter 2, auditorium 2041, Viksbågen 5.
Professor, PhD Christopher Heesy, Midwestern University, will serve as the opponent, and Professor Jukka Finne as the custos.
The dissertation will be published in the series Dissertationes Biocentri Universitatis Helsingiensis.
