Target group: The course suits well needs of students making their Bachelor's or Master's seminar. It suits also needs of everybody who wants to update information literacy skills.
Preceding studies: You know the basics of using the computer.
Aim: The main focus is in the web information resources of the following subject areas: pharmacy, veterinary medicine, forestry, agriculture, biosciences, and environmental sciences. You will learn to find books and articles about a specific subject, e.g. for writing an essay; you will be able to define suitable search terms, perform a search in a database and evaluate the retrieved data.
